Position: A/P Office Coordinator
1) Performs routine carpentry, painting, welding, electrical and plumbing work, equipment and machinery maintenance and repair; 2) Operates various types of manual, electrical or pneumatic power equipment; 3) Provides technical assistance and direction to labor crews performing less complex work in construction, repair and maintenance 4) Assists with moving tables, chairs and other equipment to various locations; 5) Change out ballast and lights and make repairs to all lighting fixtures; 6) Ability to mix and place concrete for various projects, to include foundations, sidewalks, and the setting of sign poles; 7) Responsible for the organizing and upkeep of tools, equipment, and the shop area; 8) Prepare and interpret plans to be used for those jobs which require plans to include cost estimating;
Occasionally supervises a crew of two or three.
Must have own transportation. Work is both inside and outside.
Ability to drive various types of equipment and vehicles to and form various worksites.
High school diploma or G.E.D certificate; two or more years experience in construction and maintenance work.
Read and interpret plans related to projects. Basic knowledge of the operation, use and care of small machines, tools and power equipment; ability to perform routine carpentry, painting, welding, repair, maintenance and installation of plumbing; minor electrical work.
Valid Texas Driver License.
