Position: Part-time Teller
Part time Teller is needed to provide a variety of service functions for customers.
Principal Responsibilities and Duties: • Wait on customers in a friendly & helpful manner. • Provide prompt, efficient, and accurate service when processing transactions such as deposits, loan payments, money orders, cashing checks, and cash advances. • Handle larger sums of cash and balance cash drawer on a daily basis. • Identify customers, validate and cash checks. • Answer inquiries regarding accounts and other bank related products, or direct customers to the appropriate department for assistance. • Attempt to resolve issue with customer’s accounts. • Perform related duties as assigned. Skills and Abilities Required: • Excellent people skills. • Ability to work on computer and 10-key, as well as answer phones. • Ability to count large sums of money. • Make appropriate job decisions following standard office policies and past precedents. Requirements: • Move office equipment and files weighing 10+ pounds. • Constantly operate a computer, calculator, copy machine, printer, and other office equipment. • This position frequently communicates with colleagues and customers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. • Must be able to remain in stationary position 75% of the time to process work and assist customers. • Close visual acuity to perform duties such as verifying checks, deposits, and customer data.
Pay is $10 to $12 per hour. Hours will vary. Usually starting 1pm or 2pm and working until close. Saturdays 8:30 to 12:00. Approximately 28 to 30 hours per week.
