Offices are Closed for Good Friday 2014
Demand Staff’s offices will be closed, April 18th to celebrate Good Friday.
What is Good Friday?
Good Friday is commemorative of the Crucifixion, in which Jesus died on the cross for the sins of mankind.
How Is Good Friday Celebrated?
Roman Catholics often fast on Good Friday. Catholic fasting has a specific meaning though, and it’s slightly different from other meanings of the word. According to the Latin tradition, a fast is a day in which you only have a single main meal, and you also have two collations, which are essentially very small meals. Two collations together should still be smaller than a typical meal.
Most Christian religions observe Good Friday in some way, sometimes with service, but sometimes not. Protestant religions also recognize Good Friday, but they’re generally less ceremonial about all Christian holidays than Catholic denominations.
However you observe this holiday, we hope you enjoy it and remember our Lord and Savior’s sacrifice for you.
Happy Easter from Demand Staff!
